Burn for Fanaa

A youth set himself ablaze inside the only cinema showing Fanaa in Gujarat, where cinema and multiplex owners have decided against screening the film [source].

Clearly, self-immolation attempts as a protest are losing their sheen. No pun intended…heck, intended. I saw the movie couple of weeks back and frankly, nothing to get all hot and bothered about. In fact, I was left all cold with the obvious lack of intelligence and acting ability by Bollywood’s premier actors and filmmakers.

the whole self-immolation deal is just Darmin’s theory in action. If the person attempting it dies, then the theory is verified, else someone please kill that person to verify the theory. I’d hate to see those genes propogated to the next generation.

Angelo, now we are comparing things that I absolutely detested. so probably, I wouldn’t be the best source to give you a honest opinion about Fanaa :)

Srikanth, I have yet to see a single issue being resolved by self-immolation attempts. Scott Adams was right; human beings can be convinced to do anything however stupid it might sound.
