Al Gore clearly mentioned, and it has been demonstrated that if Greenland melts, that will hinder the flow of the North Atlantic current, which will cool Europe. This also has historical precedent. Paradoxical as it may sound, these people should realise that global warming <i>can</i> lead to an ice age.
