They are listening to me??
I had questioned certain aspects of the new WTC design few weeks back, mostly pertaining to the public spaces below the 1,776 ft.tall tower. It seems similar thoughts echoed in the architect’s mind when they submitted a revised design today. They say the new design will “include a tree-filled plaza surrounding the footprints where the twin towers once stood and a cultural center at bedrock to display a crushed firetruck and other artifacts from the site”.
Now, I find the design more reassuring and humanized.
