Nerve Endings Firing Away

On the topic of meeting bloggers, I know I am yet to meet you. Inspite of being in Coll Stn, I ve somehow gotten tied up with academics. Hope to shake that favorite URL someday! :)

I attended the Chennai camp too. It was very vell organized and the people were very nice. It was a pleasure to meet Kiruba and Satya of sulkha.com. Blogging involves a fair amount of technical issues and in my opinion, giving hands-on experience in a few critical issues than covering wide range of issues is better. For instance, video podcasting or whatever it is called was not covered at all unless I missed it and I learnt it through email after coming back to Delhi. The podcasting session did not go well and when I told the same person to demonstrate simple podcasting(odeo.com) on wordpress, he could not do that. While I appreciate the spirit of the Uniconference, this is an example of efficiency without effectiveness.

Had it been more strutctured and focussed, it would have been better for new bloggers at least. However one must complement the initiative and one is thankful for making a lot of good contacts. That way it was wonderful.

Last but not the least, I got to shake hands and came face to face with Childhood idol, the little master “Sunil Gavaskar”(url-you are lovely, little master) though I wish I could have also done the same with my favorte url, Greatbong. Just for that, I shall be forever indebted to blogging and the Chennai camp.
