I’ll freely admit that she was one of the models I had chanced upon in the early days of Internet “surfing” and was visibly “impressed”. And I fleetingly followed her life after that and the fact that she made news thanks to her yo-yo weight problem, controversial marriage, a reality TV show, and the unexpected and mysterious death of her son few months back didn’t make it difficult not to.

Her former lawyer said that she always wished to be like Marilyn Monroe so it is ironic that she died in a similar manner allegedly of a drug overdose. She embodied the life of a stereotypical rural white girl enamored by the glitter of showbiz only to be entirely consumed by it and extinguished at a young age.
