Get Free Coffee at Starbucks

Starbucks across the country will be giving away a free 12 oz or “tall” cup of coffee next Thursday, March 15th, from 10am to noon [via.]

Of course, there is no such thing as free coffee (as in free lunch.) Your cost will be standing in long lines to get a measly cup of coffee so don’t waste too much time. Divide your weekly salary by work week hours to get an estimate of your time’s real worth or better still, imagine the rate you are billing your clients. Desi software consultants, be sure to deduct any commission for layers of ‘consultants’ who are taking a cut. Chances are that your office serves better coffee. Now if they were offering a frappuccino instead, I would stop to at least think about it.

At least twice,I have had free coffee in starbucks ( and I mean the specialty drinks) thanks to landing up at the place right bout the same time the barista realised he’s screwed up an order royally.tall instead of venti or some such hoopla.

And as you know, we dont like wastage of food.. so I gladly pick up such mistakes, offered to the public.

Sqrl, oh yeah! I used to spend so much time at Starbucks when I was in Atlanta that I was literally like an employee (without the work, of course). Any order goof-ups were always offered to me. I never said no :)Starbucks has been good to me.

You know my attitude towards Starbucks ;-) However, I did once receive a free frap at Starbucks – they were trying to market something new and were giving away small cups of the stuff. My principle of never rejecting free stuff overrode my objections towards Starbucks :-)

Bongo, of course I do :) Those small cups of fraps are available anytime, the real scoop is getting the regular sized ones. BTW, did you hear of the taste test that put McD’s coffee ahead of Starbucks? WTF! Starbucks isn’t that bad, is it?
