iPatrix ranked 22nd?
The Indian blogosphere is more concerned about rankings that anyone else and admittedly, I was obsessed about it too not too long ago. But frankly, you are better off doing your own thing and not worrying too much about being a part of the so-called A-List. But if you are still inclined to find your place, I prefer to use Technorati rankings because of their reliance on inbound links rather than traffic. Website traffic is seasonal and frankly, not reflective of a blog’s popularity much like “form is temporary, class is permanent” (cricket season hai!) Heck, even the Indibloggies are a better measure. Anyway, if measuring popularity doesn’t matter, the tools matter even less.
This blog will eventually slide down the rankings. Thanks to India’s dismal performance it has already started and once, Sanjaya Malakar gets voted out of American Idol, it will be once again lonesome and home to the few loyal readers.

3 years ago replyPranav, I usually don’t do Google-baiting. I write what I feel most comfortable about. If enough people are interested, they search and come across my blog. And even if I was Google-baiting, remember that the popular keywords are also more competitive (more websites writing about them.)
