Power-Sipping Bulbs Get Backing From Wal-Mart

Walmart is going green [nope, not jealous] as they furiously promoting compact fluorescent lamps over traditional incandescent bulbs as a part of both, supporting the environment movement and rescuing their battered image in business circles. We plan to buy one today for our dining area.

Since the big-ass bulb in our dining area had fused earlier yesterday, I decided to replace it with the energy-saver bulb and promptly went to the local Wal-Mart. But in the bulb aisle, I was disappointed to see hardly any fluorescent lamps. The regular incandescent ones were plentifully available. I finally found a two-pack which was priced at $7 as opposed to one buck for four ordinary bulbs.
