Supremus, as they say it is all politics. But it would be fun if ‘dadiji’ kicks the buckets and Pratibha tai is asked to head up the Brahma Kumari cult…that would also be “shouldering bigger responsibilities”, right? And Dada then talk all he wants inside her head.

Abhijit, being an Indian President is virtually a vacation. It is the ultimate powerless job in the country and you are beholden to the powers that have voted you in office. Hopefully you display the banner and spread the message.

I am surprised at the selection criteria used for the topmost position in our country. I think the fault is in the whole process by which the candidates are nominated, it creates a lot of bias, whether it is regional, gender or party’s. All these things should not matter when one thinks of the country.

Sakshi, I agree! this is blatant bastardization of our movement in claiming external icons for Marathi Manus. And yup! the irony of difference in Indian and American politics regarding talking to ‘God’ is indeed noteworthy. And we are considered to be a ‘developing’ nation. Bah! Let’s see if the Commies retain their support for Patil Bai after this ridiculous admission.
