Bloggers printing their blogs

Scott Adams, the Dilbert cartoonist and insanely funny blogger has compiled some of best posts into a book. His book, Stick to Drawing Comics, Monkey Brain!: Cartoonist Ignores Helpful Advice hit the shelves today. I have read most of his funny posts so will I go out and buy the book? Probably yes.

Couple of Indian bloggers are doing the same too. You may have heard of eM, the Compulsive Confessor being profiled by the U.K newspaper, The Telegraph. She has a book coming out based on her blog writings. Sidin, that funny Mallu blogger who has regaled us many times over with his inimitable brand of humor is also considering compiling the best of his posts in a book format. He is currently hawking for publishers and I’m sure he’ll find one soon. Currently, he is asking his readers to select potential posts that could be included in his book. Head over and help him out. That way, you can re-read some of his best posts; you may not see them online once his book gets out.

I must be the only guy I think who finds Sidin’s writing absolutely pretentious and totally stupid, and much less even remotely funny. His Desipundit posts seem to follow the same pattern as well hehe.

On the other hand, maybe you could do a book on urban planning yourself….

Supremus, I guess his brand of humor is not everyone’s cuppa tea. Personally, I would also like to see Curious Gawker compile his Onion-like posts. Book on Urban Planning? Hmmm…too many maha-rathis have made their mark. Will take a while (for me) to qualify to write a book. But thanks for the vote of confidence :)
