As seen from the Moon

There are thousands of pictures of the lunar eclipse (which I missed, damn!) that occurred this past week. But I’m sure there is just one picture of the eclipse taken from the moon.

I always knew there was a woman on the Moon ;)

I watched the eclipse until totality – it helped a lot that I could see the moon right from my couch :)

Lekhni, know what? I’ve never been able to see anything on the Moon; man or woman. Ash sees a rabbit…go figure! But the moon from your couch? Now that’s a location.

That is a fantastic picture. Apparently the weather on the moon was not crappy like the weather on earth!

Sampada, LOL! I can almost hear the weather anchor on the Moon saying, “Still no atmosphere. Details at 11.”

That would be nice except it’s not a real picture from the moon. From the description,

graphic artist Hana Gartstein (Haifa, Israel) offers this composite illustration.

Ravi, Sheesh! I guess I missed out on mentioning that. If wishes were horses…

Maybe Lekhni and I are neighbors! I, too, watched the eclipse from my couch (although I had to do some acrobatic neck-craning to achieve this, particularly as the moon rose higher). It was a lovely sight.
