Gas Price Hikes Finally Hitting Home

Americans drove 11 billion miles less in March 2008 than in previous March, one of the sharpest drop for any month in the Federal Highway Administration. Are Americans finally waking up to reality of high gas prices?

    This is a yearly story, one of those canned stories media whips out every year on Memorial Day without fail. Come November they’ll be doing airline travel woe stories for Thanksgiving. And after Christmas, credit card woes. Happens without fail.
