Nerve Endings Firing Away

Alicia Sacramone single-handedly doomed any chances for U.S. to win the women’s team gymnastics gold by making egregious errors in her routine. She fell off the balance beam and landed plonk on her bottom during the floor exercises. She looked visibly disconsolate and seemed to blame herself for her team’s loss. Unjustifiably so because the Chinese were really good although she committed those errors after the Chinese had themselves faltered.

So I guess someone (or probably lots) on the Web are trying to make it up to her by searching for “Alicia Sacramone is hot”; so much so that it was the top search term in Google Trends (right now it is at #17). Google is like your pet dog; win or lose it will still love you.
