Guess sunsets before a hurricane can be pretty dramatic. Too bad I couldn’t get a more interesting foreground. Taken in College Station, TX before Hurricane Ike hits.

That’s gorgeous! I think the sunset was prettier in CS than here.
Stay safe you guys. I don’t know if we’ll get any sleep tonight. The news has advised one family member to stay awake and watch for tornadoes.

@the adult world: I have plenty of such moments too. The camera unfortunately cannot be lugged everywhere and I hate those cell phone cameras.
@Dinesh: thanks, it seems to be fine now.
@alpha: Yup! it wasn’t as bad as we thought. But tornadoes might still be a possibility. The danger should be past us by evening.
