A Fake Obama for SNL
Saturday Night Live rocked this election season with hilarious imitations of Sarah Palin and John McCain by Tina Fey and Darell Hammond. But the one character they struggled with was Barack Obama with Fred Armisen doing a passable job but nowhere in the leagues of Fey and Hammond. Part of the reason is that Obama is not easy to imitate as he doesn’t have any particular characteristics you can make fun of. But if SNL doesn’t get its act together, it is going to be a long four years for them.
Fortunately, the wonder that is YouTube brings to us this guy who does a better Obama than Armisen. Shouldn’t SNL hire him for at least the next four years considering you won’t have McCain or Palin to make fun of?
