May be they were referring to their own. After all, Pakistan, as a country, have managed to outlive few army dictators. :) . And well, regarding Zardari’s comments, we do hold Pakistan responsible for a lot of things :)

Debashish, I was commenting on the penchant for overlooking historical facts. The fact that Pakistan has not won any military victory is known to all so why even go there? Raj Thackeray has an asinine and prejudiced opinion and as harmful as it is, he is not stating something that never happened. Kudos to Dawn for at least digging up the truth but then there opinion pages undo all that.

I would only say here that one Urdu daily doesn’t represent the Pakistani press as India TV doesn’t represent the Indian Electronic Media and Raj Thackrey doesn’t represent all Marathis. Remember “Dawn” story had confirmed India’s allegation about the Pakistani origin of the captured terrorist.
