I attended a most insightful panel discussion on ‘Religious Defamation’ yesterday at LSE – my head is buzzing with thoughts about the same, hope to blog about it soon. This ‘religious sensitivity’ issue is gripping the UK in many ways too.
1 year ago replyWell UK is a diverse location too in terms of the amounts of religions but then again going ahead and asking the Election commission to ban such symbols is just plain ridiculous.
1 year ago replyProbably with three fingers down, the hand symbol would be more reflective of Congress’ message to the voters. No ‘manifesto’ needed.
1 year ago replyWould love to hear more about the panel discussion although UK’s behavior in pandering to so-called religious sensitivities is largely to blame as well.
