1. Ignorance.
2. Ignorance taking on the form of activism.

(1) can be overlooked. (2) is irritating. You can have a poster of Obama in your bedroom. But are you going to pay the price if he is able to do all he wants to do? After al, if things go too bad, you will goto Bombay and blog about some other nonsense.

Bush, Limbaugh and the Republicans may have caused America great harm (open to argument). But were you seriously and directly impacted by it? (except for gasp! random airport security checks) If you are pretending to be a white liberal, may be you can try better.

Some real issues of immigrants who can't yet vote are:
1. Which party is more likely to increase the cap of H1B/green cards.
2. Which party has is normally more prone to lowering your taxes.

The answer is not Obama's party. Iraq is a desert thousand of miles away from India and the United States. I frankly do not see why people like you are so worked up over non-issues.
