Apparently changing your password on Twitter without logging out of Tweetdeck can get your Twitter account locked. So if you are using Tweetdeck and want to change your password or username, follow these instructions. It has been three hours for me and I’m still waiting.

I’m locked out too because of this, but I was using twitterific on the iPhone. Looks like its with all 3rd party twitter apps. Did your account get unlocked because mine is still locked.

  Yes; eventually it did. But I had to log out and quit TweetDeck first.
