Bookmarks as Posts
Imported bookmarks from Pinboard will now appear as separate posts instead of daily digest posts. It will still be posted under the Asides category. If you are a feed subscriber, nothing will change especially if you are using this feed link to read general posts minus the link posts.
Why the change? Well, I wasn’t bookmarking as many links as I thought I would be and the digest link posts looked ugly. I haven’t bookmarked more than 5 links in a day so (hopefully) flooding your feed reader is not a problem. I’ll try to add a personal comment or two to the link along with an excerpt but sometimes a link and its excerpt is sufficient. If you are interested only in the links, then you can directly subscribe to the Pinboard bookmark feed that I use to import posts into this blog.
This change may make this blog more into a linkblog but better than being a dead blog, right?
