After the Gap logo redesign fiasco, I think I like this new Starbucks design. At least they have stayed loyal to their iconic mermaid. On a related note, this article on Fast Company on how now-iconic brand names like BlackBerry, Swiffer, and Pentium were developed, is fascinating. I like to believe that the name, DesiPundit had a lot to do with the success of the website and that’s why I have chosen to retain ownership. Perhaps in the near future, I may choose to use it again.
