Nerve Endings Firing Away

I had never thought I would be reading about a festival for my ancestral roots. My parents grew up in Girgaon and profess to have umpteen relatives in the area, some of which they rather not hear about now. One of the by-lanes in Central Girgaon is even named after my great-grandfather. But I haven’t spent much time in the area to have any interesting memories. I visit the area only when there is one less member in our community. The Khotachiwadi Heritage Trust seems to have some wonderful objectives and I have always been a believer in historic preservation. The food festival made me drool; not having eaten some of the traditional food in ages, I can only envy those who can attend (Dilip, I know you are, please post your experience)
