One Year Ago

It has been exactly one year since America voted Bush back in office. I still haven’t figured out why they would do so. Anyway, I don’t have this date etched in my memory due to this event that only has remote implications for me. Personally, it has been the most satisfying twelve months ever. Ash and I got together “officially” exactly one year back and although I suffer from absentmindedness, I dare not forget this date (not that I ever would; Ash would ensure that). She presented me with a light jacket and a calendar of my Flickr photos.

She already has a great post recalling every moment of that first date. I couldn’t write anything more that would beat that. We have been through much in the past year and if we have come so far, I see no reason why we can’t go the long way. It has been a testing time and thank goodness, everything has so far worked out to our advantage (touch wood and all that!)

Best of luck to us and cheers to many more such November 3rds.

Queer, unfortunately some of your blogger friends don’t seem to think so. Thanks a lot though for dropping by. I am still looking for an excuse to visit SD

Leela, is it ever possible to see reason? I guess, I’m just hardwired differently. Didn’t get it until Ash explained it to me.

    Sujatha, One More Reason, Thanks.
