Black Friday Online?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or email alerts. Thanks for visiting!

Not that I am looking to making my wallet lighter over the next few days but can anyone tell me if there is an online version of Black Friday? I mean are online retailers like Amazon, Buy, or eBay offering deep discounts that last only for a day (or few hours)? Will these sales begin at 6am and do we have to be wake up early and sit in front of our computers hand on the click button, ready to sale crazy? Quick Online Tips informs us that online retailers might be salivating instead at the prospects of a bloodbath (shopping wise) on Cyber Monday i.e. the Monday following Black Friday. It is strange that everything in the US has a precise start day even the shopping season.

Folks, Thanksgiving sales are a sham. Enjoy your sleep (and your turkey). Let that tryptophan kick in and then sleep some more. If you are a grad student then prolly you should douse yourself in a gallon of coffee and churn out that paper that you have been sitting on since the start of the semester.

Bloghopper, no..no..not at all. Except for a few select things for which I’ll saunter in late, I have no desire to go sale crazy. Been there, done that.

Yeah. When I first came here, the bloody thing was so hyped up, ended up buying my laptop. Later realized that standing in line from 2.00 am in a bad New Jersey winter was a badidea. This time will work and sleep and watch movies!
