BlogCamp

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or email alerts. Thanks for visiting!

The little idea which lies beneath all the overt ones out there behind DesiPundit was to create some sort of identity for the Indian blogosphere. We may or may not be doing anything specific to achieve that goal but we are getting noticed in our little own way. The other day, the creators behind BlogBurst emailed me asking if I would join their network. When I told them I could also add couple more of my blogs and the name DesiPundit was mentioned, BlogBurst people mentioned hearing about us. Few mentions by the MSM and blog gurus eventually find its way to us. So I think we are making an iota of a difference if not more.

in that spirit, I was glad to hear from Syed who informed me that the folks behind Chennai BarCamp were now organizing the first ever BlogCamp. He asked if I could join them to speak on my experiences with DesiPundit. Unfortunately, commuting across continents is something I cannot do right now so I had to politely decline. But if I was in India, I would have definitely loved to be there. If you are in India or better still, in Chennai you should attend the event. It is currently in its planning stages and the organizers are shooting for September 9th and 10th as tentative dates. Details follow after the jump:
