What I have been trying to do to the Indian blogosphere with DesiPundit, Rediff threatens to do it with just one slideshow. They feature blogs by celebrity blondes and it certainly doesn’t get more blonde than Britney Spears, Anna Kournikova, Pamela Anderson, Gillian Anderson (she wasn’t blonde in X-Files…what happened?), Hillary Duff, and for good measure an oldie blondie – Barbara Streisand.
Nope, I am not giving you links; you gotta get them yourself (or from
the Rediff slideshow). Reviewing their blogs would be too big a word
for such an activity and I would hate to admit doing such a thing. But
let me get this straight; is celebrity blogging really that big a deal?
Blogs was supposed to a little person’s claim to fame and blogging by
celebrities doesn’t really give your actual dirt on them, which is what
most people are looking for.
Britney is stuck behind a corporate image wall and too dhinchak
website doesn’t really give the impression that she is getting personal
with her fans. However, Pamela knows very well that her fans do not
want to read her writing but rather see her picture. She happily
obliges. Anna, Hillary, and Gillian actually do write some stuff that
seems to be written by them but then it almost borders on those Mac
Chronicles (“I had a Mac for lunch and felt happy about it” kind of
posts). But then, die-hard fans might actually like reading what their
stars do in real life, aside from what their PR campaigns wants to tell
us. Barbara, of course is nowadays known more for her political views
than her singing voice…and most of the conservatives hate her with a
passion.
Nope, I am not on first-name basis with the above ladies. But I have half a mind to cite these blogs for tomorrow’s Blog Day.

Minal, I am not reviewing their blogs. But if you were a guy, I would have asked you to check out Pam Anderson’s blog :)
