So much finger pointing and I’m surprised these self-proclaimed Nehru lovers never thought of taking a pail of water and a rag to do the job themselves. Perhaps Nehru wouldn’t have done it either.

Nope. Nehru wouldn’t have done it himself. He would’ve established three separate state departments to do it. One would be responsible for the water, one would be responsible for the bucket and one for the cloth. Problem is even when one of the three would always be off because of the numerous government holidays and jayantis. Even when all 3 were actually open and did their jobs to provide the raw materials, the cleaners would be on strike.

Santosh, LOL! I wanted to add something on the lines of what you did in the second part of your comment but since I had already tagged it as an Aside, I couldn’t :) But you hit the nail on the head. I’m sure if Atanu was asked to comment on the story, he would have said something similar but just more caustically.
I wouldn’t call Nehru dirty. The poor chap had noble intentions however was led astray by his idealism and ego.

I agree Nehru was not dirty. My comment was pointed more towards his progeny.
