Not quite the giant killing achieved by Cameroon or Senegal in ‘90 and ‘02, but a very good performance by T&T. Kudos to them. Some sort of good news for Lara, I guess.

Bongo, definitely not! those were cool matches. But considering that no one even gave T&T a second look, eking out a draw against a major European power is credible. Remember, even South American countries with the exception of Argentina and Brazil struggle against Europeans. This might be a boost for CONCAF.

Isaw the match, actually I have taken cable. End of finding sports bars. :)
The second half was more engrossing and a real treat. It was just a question of confidence I think.

Confused, I expected it to be a washout and skipped it but proves that not all draws are boring.

The 0-0 draw between Trinidad&Tobago was much more absorbing than England’s 1-0 win over Paraguay!!

Ashwin, I guess I just picked the wrong match to see.
Pratyush, was it? since I didn’t see the match, I found it via the WC Blog. Wonder how many Mexicans were offended.
