Famous Misquoted Quotation

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or email alerts. Thanks for visiting!

I finally got what Neil Armstrong was trying to say. But I was always confused with this famous quotation but thought it too stupid to voice it out loud. Until Judge Roberts pointed out the fallacy:

"It is my recollection," Mr. Roberts wrote, "that he actually said ‘one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind,’ but the ‘a’ was somewhat garbled in transmission. Without the ‘a,’ the phrase makes no sense."

Ah-ha! Now it makes sense.
