Free Burma!

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.
- Edmund Burke

It is sad that the so-called protectors of freedom and fighters against tyranny won’t act to support a genuine movement by the people of an oppressed land. We fight wars in distant lands under the guise of protecting freedom and our way of life when in fact, you are simply acting in your self-interest. You have no reason to justify your actions or your reasons for doing so but at least muster up the courage to reveal your real intentions. And if you really believe in life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for all then no self or personal interest is going to stop you from doing the right thing.

Make your voice heard here.

Update: In a wonderful post, JK underlines the moral imperatives that we face in not only reacting against the Burma repression but also in the way we can choose to influence the outcome.
