One of the TV shows that I’ve always regretted missing is The West Wing and somehow I’ve never managed to get my hands on the DVD versions as well. But I’ve always heard high praise for the series. Matt Santos, one of the characters in the series was modeled on Barack Obama. But the real surprise is how the West Wing script is now emerging as a prediction for today’s political scenario; right down to the Republican challenger. And it had a happy ending. Will the real race too have one?

Oops, thought of Tom Lantos who died recently when I wrote that. Didn’t help that Kunal made the same mistake.
