We expected Bush to give us the October Surprise. Instead it was the Red Sox and now, mullah of all mullahs, Bin Laden releases another tape threatening attack on the US, just days before the all-important election. Now since 9/11, Bin Laden and his cronies have released more tapes than apni Britney and his message is as predictable as Ms.Sherawat’s next sex scene. But the 21-cent question is whether this tape will help Dubya or not. But methinks, it should not. After all it does underline what Kerry has been crying hoarse about last year i.e. Bush diverted attention from the real terrorists to invade Iraq. But of course, Bush is the all-important messiah in the Bible belt where they love being scared and are planning a Passion of the Bush, which incidentally sounds like a pron flick. So Americans, THINK and vote. Please, for the love of God, think!!!

Hey, why am I not surprised at the turn of events ? I just knew something would come up to make the Bush admin up the terror level before election day. Huh !
And I think this might work in Apeman’s favor. Its just gonna be proof to all those rednecks out there that he was right : America is in danger, and the whole preemptive attack thing is a good idea. Kerry’s soft position is going to seem weaker than it already does. I sure as hell hope I’m wrong though.
I have only this to say ’bout ur passion of bush joke(?) - ugghh !

Ash - I did expect a surprise too although this doesn’t seem to be doctored by the Republicans. But I am skeptical that it might help your Apeman, it just might prove that Osama is still running free with enough technology to make a tape, so why haven’t we caught him yet? But thankfully, both candidates have voiced unpartisan opinions on the tape so the effect of the tape might be washed out.
BTW if you think I was the originator of the “Bush” joke, you might be surprised (although I wish I was). This has been an ugly campaign and is getting worse. It was a take on the popular joke going around ..check it out.

Hmm, popular joke huh ? First time for me…one of those stupid jokes that are ewww gross but make you grin anyway ! Makes me feel a li’l sorry for apeman though..just a li’l bit.

Ash - Guess you just have kept away from the nitty gritties of the race. The late night show jokes are much worse (ewww gross and grin kinds or Scary Movie kinds). But the Apeman doesn’t mind the sympathies if it lands him back at his White Ranch.

Of late, news from the US is becoming more and more humorous, thanks to the election and idiots like britney along with a bad-man coming in the loop :)

Chetan - I wonder if all the standup comics and late night shows are going to run out of material to make fun of when the election is over. I hope not.

Somehow, I get the feeling that this is going to get more votes for bush.

Aaar - Care to elaborate why? Because apart from the climate of fear that it helps spread, I see no other reason.

Climate of fear is what bush relies on, isn’t it? It has brought back 9/11 instead of Iraq into the limelight. The republican voters do not think whether there is any relationship between the two… everything is hidden behind the abstract term ’security’.

Kimu - Lotsa Bin going there for you. Lets hope we have a winner on Wed.morning.
Deepak - Mucho Gracias. I’ll drop in at your blog sometime.
Aaar - Run scared and also if the voter turnout is low, Bush wins.

im gonna hafta agree with eyepatch’s view on this one. I too think this latest binu tape should encourage more undecided voters determined to vote for Kerry,c os they’re all gonna sit up n go “Osama? (few second sof mild blinking) oh yeaaaahh… we forgot about THAT guy… !!”. Then hopefully people will realise that the Bush administrations plan of retort against the evil minions taht were behind 9/11 was to turn their fingers 45 degres southwards n say ” Lookie there! ITS SADDAM!”. but hey, this coulkd just be me being psychotically optimistic. i sure hope not, though. GO Democrats, OR in kerry’s case, zombiecrats, whatever.

Ankita - The only reason Bushie went after Saddam instead of Binu was that he thought that was much easier (ah-ha!)and wanted to kill his daddy…but lets see if Americans think it through that Binu and not Saddam was responsible for 9/11.

Good joke. When Howard won in Oz, I was surprised at the support he got on blogs from around the World. Going by that, should GW lose, it would be said that Oz has shown more courage than the Yankees - they might even be right, what do I know?!

Kiran - Oz-ians don’t have enough presence to make enough goofups so lets see if Americans do some serious thinking.

Kimu - I think it just might be more interesting this year..although i hope it is not and we have a clear winner on Wed.morning…Renquist being currently indisposed also isn’t a good sign for the Republicans.

The Passion of the Bush - ROTFLMAO!! I’d love Kerry just cos he’s the lesser of the two evils. But I think America will vote otherwise.

Minds Eye - As they say, if Bush contested against Anti-Bush, he would be whipped by a huge margin…what does that say about being the so-called Messiah of the Christ (according to the Bible Belt)
