Kiddish Acts

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or email alerts. Thanks for visiting!

We normally sit in the kids section at Borders while browsing through books; mostly because the general café seating is full on weekend evenings and partly because the kids section is entertaining and you can stretch out your legs on the little reading stage. You aren’t really immersed in the book you are reading and a little distraction makes the experience enjoyable. Of course, you cannot go during story time and annoy the kids. The attention span of kids is amazingly short; the book that they clutch at would be tossed aside as soon as they see something more interesting. Of course, there are wailers too whom poor frazzled parents try to pacify using all possible means. More than looking at the kids, it is entertaining to see the parent trying out all sorts of antics to entertain their kids. Only with a kid, will an adult act like a kid and play the fool.

In the future, I might have to act like a kid and play the fool too. Sheeeeesh!
