I usually hang out at the local Barnes and Nobles Café in the evenings, writing up assignments or reading. I see these two girls hanging out there a lot too, twins or just too similar-looking sisters. They seem to know many other regular patrons and are quite friendly with the staff as well. That’s why I wasn’t too surprised to see one of them (or both of them at separate times) behind the counter one day. Assuming it was just one of them, she had simply started working at the place she spend most of her time at.
I too was almost ‘offered’ a job at the local Starbucks I used to hang out a lot in Atlanta. Until I read this over at Uma’s blog that I thought this wouldn’t be that frequent. George Whitman who runs Shakespeare & Co. in London Paris “has been inviting people to live in his shop from its very first days. There are now 13 beds among the books, and he says that more than 40,000 people have slept there at one time or another. All he asks is that you make your bed in the morning, help out in the shop, and read a book a day.” [source: The Guardian]. Uma, you are right; that sure sounds like a great life. Maybe that girl or both of them might just be living it.

It’s in Paris, not London!
You almost had me booking my tickets to London.

Sabra, the store must have a bathroom and the cafe takes care of their food, I think :)
Sthira, Oops! Changed it. Almost everything about that bookstore yells London.
