Vaibhav, Possibly as Amit Agarwal also suggests, every blogger could benefit from registering at Technorati. I mention Technorati because they are already an established registry and claiming a blog and tagging is as easy as it gets. I am aware of the spammy links but that's where a human moderator makes a difference. That said, I would love to see what Indiagoes.com comes up with.

Confused, I don't think you have to register your blog at Google Blog Search. It detects sites set up on Blogger or Wordpress and considers them as blogs. As blog searching becomes more popular, I bet some websites may have a blog component too.

Patrix: This is definitely a requirement which is not easily addressed as it is tough to get every indian blogger to register in technorati. More importantly, just the tags based identification can lead to a lot of spammy links that increased the work for anyone looking to search indian blogs. We have ourselves seen this as a gap-waiting-to-be-filled and are looking for ways to add such a piece to the blogs section on indiagoes.com. I'll keep you posted as we get something ready for a beta preview.
