“Musharraf recently told a senior editor that Pakistan had never arrested or kept in confinement any IAF officer. The Pakistan President found it unfair of Chopra to ’show Pakistan in bad light.’” [via Rediff News]
Yash Chopra was summarily summoned to a dinner in New Delhi’s Taj Mansingh hotel and Mushrraf is “expected to convey his displeasure to Chopra in person.” Yash Chopra, the astute filmmaker that he is, must be rubbing his hands in glee at this heaven-sent opportunity to insert another comedy routine in his romantic sagas (why must he dramatize a simple love story?) On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is maha-pissed that Musharraf didn’t take offense to his movie, Deewar (The-War?) which had far many Indian prisoners in a Pakistani jail. He is demanding a public reprimand at an equally swank dinner.
