Nobel for Blogging

Yikes! Gary Becker actually
reads and responds to the comments on his blog. Considering that he had over 65 comments and 14 trackbacks to his first post, in addition to 165 comments and 17 trackbacks to Posner’s post on Preventive War, they either read real fast or have plenty of time on their hands. I won’t be surprised if he has hired a team of GRAs (graduate research assistants) to sift through the comments and write an executive summary on the different opinions. Now wouldn’t that work be fun? But one thing is clear, he is clearly leaning towards Bush at least regards the Iraq War. Lets hope that is early blogging jitters
So now I know what I have been doing wrong. You have to first win a Nobel and then blog instead of trying to win one by blogging. Ooops! Did I say that out loud?
UPDATE: While on the subject of “intellectuals” blogging (if ever that is going to be a fad remains to be seen), check out Left2Right - an interesting blog still feeling its way around but has several noted intellectuals on their list.
