Ogle Boggle

I finally took the plunge. Nope, I didn’t learn to skydive over the last few hours but reverted back to my old hobby of running. I realized how horribly I was out of shape after going for about a mile or two. My roomies almost called the lunatic asylum when they saw me step out in sweltering(?) evening sun. But, seriously I simply had to get up and going, for I feared the easily-attainable paunch. I am hardly regular with my eating habits with academic stress to boot but simply breathing in toxified Atlanta smog seems to add pounds like any trans-fat laden food.

It wasn’t easy and my stomach was all in knots from intense dehydration and cramps after few miles. I might be exaggerating coz the mental finish line seemed to pull away from me with each passing step. But the run was invigorating as I put in an unexpected extra couple of hours reading at Starbucks after a refreshing shower. ADS joined me for a change to get started on his GMAT prep. But the summer teen flesh feast in the theatre plaza did not get him beyond 5 questions. Guess he couldn’t take it any more and slammed his Kaplan shut. My remarks that they are just kids makes him give me the BHMB line i.e. baadi hoke maal banegi. I ponder for a while on his hopeful futuristic vision.

Now, don’t mistake me for a chaste sincere baccha. I do my share of babe-watching too. Plus, the Atlanta summer months is a added bonus for silent watchers like me. But
the incomprehensibility of the three sides of social science philosophy does numb your brain of all lustful thoughts…maybe later.
