Opinions Abound

I was recently interviewed (via email) by Jeff Yang for the San Francisco Chronicle. He was writing
an article on the recent launch of Virgin Comics and examining rise of Asian comic book culture. I guess he found my reference from
an earlier post I had written reviewing the pre-release copy of the first edition of Virgin Comics. Although I rambled on quite a bit and have been cited in just one paragraph, it still works for me. The other blogger interviewed was
Abhi from Sepia Mutiny.
On other fronts, I sent off an ranting email to Xeni Jardin at Boing Boing when Indian Express analysed the list of banned blogs. I guess she must have found it useful in updating her post on the blog ban in India because I got my first mention at Boing Boing. The previous time I was cited there was a hat-tip and I don’t think that counts. Nope, the hits aren’t rolling in.

Sometimes blogging lands you up in funny places. SM’s own Abhi and Patrix from Desipundit were recently quoted in an excellent San Francisco Chronicle regarding the new Indian comic books. A mystery man named “Ennis Singh Mutinywale” was quoted all …
