How can you take a sports team serious when they are dressed like this? Perhaps Manish Malhotra should restrict himself to Karan Johar movies [via The Bombay Bitch]. If you are wondering, these supposedly the team uniforms for the newly-launched Indian Premier Cricket League [hat tip: Piker]. Perhaps Shah Rukh Khan, Russell Crowe, and Anil Ambani might want to bid on these teams as well even if it just for entertainment.

Piker, yeah! I had read that before. If they wanted to alter the image of cricket as a ‘gentleman’s game’, this was definitely not the direction I had hoped for. But I still welcome ICL. If it weren’t for them, IPL wouldn’t have happened in the first place.

These colors, they hurt the eye! I wonder how will it be to see 22 ppl in these clothes… perhaps they can do away with day-night matches and hold the matches in stark darkness… we’ll still them without any problems!

Supremus, You’re right! I can’t imagine watching 22 of these guys prancing around on the field. Put those ‘radium’ sticker or reflecting strips and we can have a psychedelic experience too.
And yup, I’m sure I can figure out a way to exclude asides from the feed. I’ll email you.
