Did I miss this news or am I reporting stale news [via]?
Joss [Whedon] and company are in negotiations with actress Priyanka Chopra to play the lead in his next big blockbuster comic-to-movie project, Wonder Woman [source].
I am not sure if this news is accurate or on the lines of Ash (the other one) as a Bond girl. But if it is, Priyanka sure is warming up to the superhero movies after starring in Krrish.

Confused, haven’t seen Krrish yet. But I don’t think Ms.Chopra would mind the spandex now only if we got Batwoman in the picture, the fantasy would be complete.

Okay now assuming the info is correct then I don’t think Priyanka is a bad choice. She has some sort of a canny resemblence with the comic character. Plus her acting is not all that bad…I am sure she will improve with time.
As far as Kkrish is concerned…I thought it was a decent movie. It wouldnt be fair to compare it with Hollywood flicks…for a first timer Rakesh Roshan did well. And Hritik….looked damn good re. :)

I agree with Sakshi. My first thought on reading this was ‘Why not’? She does resemble the character and she’s sexy enough :)
Hope it comes through, if it is true. In any case..there are worse choices…Imagine if it had been Mallika Sherawat/Udita Goswami…or even Rakhi Sawant!

Sakshi, I agree that she would fit the role well…err…she has the stats for Wonder Woman and regarding acting, you don’t need talent for playing comic book characters. Appear vulnerable and sad in your unmasked role and the mask hides the other half of your role.
IndianArchie, heck! as long as she was not allowed to speak, Rakhi Sawant would have made an equally good Wonder Woman.

Arey…after the whole Mika kissing episode Rakhi Sawant has become a Indian Women Role Model….okay okay I agree that was pushing it too far. ;)
