Why is the liberal media bashing poor’ol Palin for seeing something that we mere mortals cannot? Katie Couric had the audacity to question one of the conservatives greatest hope on her foreign policy experience especially with respect to Russia. Check out the relevant transcript below:
Couric: You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?
Sarah Palin: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and, on our other side, the land-boundary that we have with Canada. It’s funny that a comment like that was kinda made to … I don’t know, you know … reporters.
Couric: Mocked?
Palin: Yeah, mocked, I guess that’s the word, yeah.
Couric: Well, explain to me why that enhances your foreign-policy credentials.
Palin: Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there…
Couric: Have you ever been involved in any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
Palin: We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia. As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state [source].
Now for ordinary mortals or those outside the know, Putin rearing her head over Alaska might seem paranoid but who are we to doubt Palin’s belief of Putin as a ominous cloud over the freedom-loving Alaskans. Still don’t believe her? Here is some photographic evidence:

Photoshop-whotoshop! You just do not have the faith to see the looming danger. And I’m also calling for the immediate firing of the SNL writers given the fact that they are not writing any original material but merely using actual quotes from the Palin interview for their comic skit. Palin should sue for copyright infringement and demand royalities.

Not intending to be sarcastic, Alaska does have oil and a share in the Arctic resources, once the ice breaks up. Of course, Russia is not going to do anything abt it, but Alaska does have some strategic importance. After all, it did provide subject for Jeffrey Archer’s “A Matter of Honor”.

Sarah Palin is increasingly looking / feeling / talking like George Bush’s younger sister. Can’t wait for more of Bushisms Volume 2: Sarahisms.

@Ranjith Kollannur: I don’t see what or how Sarah Palin can do about Alaska’s strategic importance regarding Russia; it is a federal matter. Citing Archer in a VP debate might just bring the house down.
@Supremus: I think I’ve had enough of stupid-isms. Need a refresher dose of intellect for a change. Maybe in 2016.

LOL at Putin’s pic “rearing his head” . After SP’s interview with KC, I wrote a letter to Grandpa McCain citing my credentials for the Veep post. Check it out at http://nidhiidnani.blogspot.com/ But I guess he is in Washington to get the republicans together to back the plan!

You dumb fucks. You can’t take someone to court for copyright infringement for simply repeating what they said in an interview. Everything we say is not copyrighted!! Think Smart Attack. The only reason that they do not have to write any new material is because the things she says are dumb enough!! There is no need! Doesn’t that make you think? No, I guess not. Republicans don’t think much, they BELIEVE…..anything their pastors tell them to.
