Snakes, Why did it have to be snakes? Guess we can never forget that line and the antics of Indiana Jones in search of lost treasure. For the first time since 1989, Harrison Ford dons the hat of Indiana Jones for the latest movie in the series also directed by Steven Spielberg [source]. I loved all three previous movies - Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade. Extremely kitschy but quite entertaining, much like Manmohan Desai’s Amitabh flicks. Ford actually made the geeky archeologist cool. It is great to see him back in his hat and khakis. The movie will be out next summer.

I never liked Temple of Doom and I think Last Crusade was the best of the lot - Connery and Ford made a great pair ! Given the recent Lucas and Spielberg offerings, I am not holding my breath on this one.

Bongo, incidentally Temple of Doom was the first one I saw and that was when I was 8-9. Loved it then. Was maha-thrilled to see apna Amrish Puri and didn’t pay much attention to the gross stereotyping of India. And then I saw the other ones which I admit were the better of the lot. Last Crusade was the most fast-paced and perhaps more enjoyable.
