My latest toy thanks to Ash who gifted me this wonderful camera on my ‘Hindu’ birthday this past weekend. Believe it or not, this is my first digital camera. So expect more frequent updates on my Flick account.

congrats! finally.. so who did the R&D about the models etc? (u or ash?) I can see it has 10X opt zoom.. what else? Which model is this? I almost bought Canon S2IS..but now I have put that buy on hold for sometime till I make up my mind.
Err..Ash, what would I have to do, to get a gift like this from you? :)

Gabby, yeah, unfortunately I didn’t have the brains to demand a Hindu and a normal B’day in April… shyaay ! But I can’t complain, since I was given a B’day week, with a gift every day !! :D
Fairy, it’s an Olympus c770. You can google for the specifications. And yeah, I did all the R&D all on my own - it was a surprise for him :) This is the one I found that was within my budget and also had a bevy of tools - so what do you think of my choice ? :)
And sorry, I’m afraid gifts like this require a degree of … uh …umm… err… stuff that I can’t get from you ! :P

Twilight, Ash did all the R&D on the camera and she did a darn good job on that :)*proud of her* This is Olympus C770. A nice medium-range camera that fulfils all my camera cravings for now. Of course the Nikon D70 still stays on my list but maybe now I can wait a lil’ longer.
Gabby, No re! the two birthdays are hardly days apart but I am not *that* lucky to get gifts on both days :)but feel free to break that tradition. My Amazon wish list can be found online.
Ash, ah-ha! the birthday week is still remembered, eh? *pats myself on the back*
