Its time for the Nerd Community to gang up again. Although there are lots of us out there, not many are willing to pledge allegiance to the cause. The fifth edition of Scian Melt – a collection of blog posts pertaining to science and technology will be hosted at Nerve Endings Firing Away…yup, that’s right here. The current Melt can be viewed at Seshu’s Tiffinbox …and he has a free Typepad Pro account – a $119.60 value – to offer (with a catch, of course).
So now what, of course…the nominations. Send in your nominations for any blog posts that you think have extended your scientific knowledge or lent you an insight into the technical world. Unless you are OB Laden’s right or left hand, you might have noticed that there is a lot happening out there. If you have been pondering on some scientific issue yourself, write it up and send me the permalink, I gladly accept self-nominations. The Melt will be up on Christmas Day. No better way to celebrate the Christ’s birthday, right?
Send the nominations in the comment box of this post or send me an email at pcmhatre [at] gmail [dot] com. Deadline is December 24th 5pm EST. The Melt will be up on December 25th 12:05am…unless I bump into Santa.

“pertaining to science and technology”. Does that include a sci-fi post?
