Parag sprinkles complex pharma and bio terms to boggle my mind. All I could understand was that something called the Cytochrome P450 is the latest ass-kicker enzyme and would be called a slut if it was a human.
Anya wonders if Nanotechnology and Stem Cell Research are just "hot trends" because they sound cool. Is complex science with far-out applications hyped? - is his rant.
Selva lists few great science links on the Scientific Indian blog (the originator of Scian Melt). Theory of Dimensions, Evolution, and Godel make Science fun. Be sure to check out the mind-boggling Presentation on Dimensions [PDF link] at UChic (frankly I had to save it for a careful read at a later time)
Mark Liberman points to an interesting evolution of whale songs and delves into post contains links to the sounds of the nature that we never thought held so much meaning…err..just don’t get too carried away![thanks to Amardeep Singh for the original link]
