Solutions to Coexist: Animal Overpass

Roadkill is one of the most wasteful, not to mention horrible ways to lose animal life in the world. Although it happens any place where humans and the natural worlds collide, I have seen animal guts spilled out on the roads more in the United States. Probably, high speeds on the interstates and sprawling metropolises are to blame. The animals are left with little choice but to risk crossing roads at great danger to not only their lives but also that of motorists who honestly do not wish to kill animals this way.
I came upon this following graphic at Boing Boing today and although I had seen it before, it reminded me of simple solutions that we can put in place to co-exist with animals. After all, “animals are people too” (source unknown).
