It was a lazy weekend complete with those rare afternoon siestas. Lucy loves the weekend because we are at home the whole day and she doesn’t have to spend time in her crate. She has learnt to act like the morning alarm if I sleep past 7am which is the time for her morning walk and of course, poopie time as Ash likes to call it. I rather wake up early than clean up the mess inside. She spends the rest of the morning sunning herself as seen above along with her toys. She’ll squint at the direct sunlight but not move from her sunny patch in our living room. I know her mane looks a bit scraggly but she had her first grooming this week and next week I’ll have pictures up of her trimmed new look.

cutest sunbather i’ve seen :) maybe you could get her some fancy sunglasses and she’ll be set..i think i recognize that toy from old navy? went there yest and for some reason.. they has a pile of pet toys..

@sqrlnt: yup and she has already ripped it so it had to go. Got it from Petco but we’ve a few from Target. But you really want me to dress up Lucy like she were a human?

not really.. but everyone needs eye protection, no? I’m sure their eyes get as ruined as ours if we look directly into the sun. or maybe i’m just superparanoid thanks to the migraines I suffer:)

@sqrlnt: I’m sure she would simply look away if it gets too harsh :) Ash is already planning on a sweater for the winter. Bah!
