Book promotion by reading aloud

“There are 8,000 nerve endings in the clitoris and this son of a bitch couldn’t find one of them.” Book publisher promotes book by making random people in Central Park reading that first line from the book. I love the last guy who reads it as if it is a compliment.

Perils of Loyalty as Employment Criteria

“Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

…seemed to be the inspiration for Scott McClellan as is evident from its preface for writing his latest book eviscerating the Bush White House. Ranging from labeling the Iraq war as a ‘major blunder’ to the ‘constant campaign state’ as opposed to governing, McClellan [...]

The Five Point Someone Movie

Why the fuck would Shah Rukh Khan be considered for role of an IIT student? Thankfully, it isn’t happening. Be it cricket or Bollywood, India’s top two passions, don’t you think we lack the guts to look [...]

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Review

[Guest-post by Ash]
[Spoiler alert]
Only one book was pre-ordered for our apartment, so P and I tussled over who would get to read the book first. We decided on a coin toss and I won. I think fortune favored me because I had spent every free minute of the last week reading books 1 through 6 [...]
