Doris Lessig, author of the classic The Golden Notebook won the 2007 Nobel Prize for Literature. Nope, I haven’t read any of her work but then so many books only so much time. Someday.

    The selection of Doris Lessing as the nobel prize winner is no doubt commendable, but simultaneously the Nobel Committee is reponsible for doing injustice to a great writer like her for being so late to give her proper recognition.
